How does a fogless shower mirrors anti-fog feature work?
There are two types of fogless shower mirror based on the way they work:
The first one uses a hot water chamber. It works by pouring hot water into the chamber. When the mirror surface has the same or a higher temperature than the shower steam, fog won’t condense on the mirror surface--making it clear for as long as the water is warm.
The second one uses an anti-fog coating to keep the mirror fogless in the shower. These coatings are usually temporary; they only work for a specific period. Periodic reapplying of the coatings is needed.
While other shower mirrors use either one of the two principles in staying fogless, several of Mirrorvana’s fogless shower mirrors have dual anti-fog features. Our mirrors have anti-fog coatings and a built-in back chamber for the heat transfer method.
