Fogless Mirrorvana Shower Mirror (White) FAQ
How does the new Mirrorvana shower mirror with razor holder stay fogless?
Heated surfaces do not accumulate fog and by filling the reservoir in the back with shower temperature water, it will warm the mirror and prevent it from fogging up.
The new Mirrorvana Fogless Shower Mirror with Razor Holder (MVSFM87B1X) is truly fogless each and every time BUT YOU MUST FILL THE BACK RESERVOIR WITH WARM/HOT WATER PRIOR TO SHOWERING.
How do I get the suction mechanism to work?
Mirrorvana mirrors utilize an advanced suction mechanism that is far superior to most suction cup designs on the market today.
To lock the mirror in place, first locate a dry, clean, flat and non-porous surface and press the suction cup against it. Next, make sure the suction mechanism starts in the unlocked position by twisting it all the way to the left (counter-clockwise). Finally, twist the suction mechanism all the way to the right (clockwise) to lock it in place. Please refer to the manual included with your purchase for illustrations.
What surfaces does the suction mechanism work on?
The mirror suctions best to dry, clean, and non-textured flat surfaces like windows or glass mirrors. Other non-porous surfaces like granite tiles or marbles usually work flawlessly as well.
My mirror keeps falling off, what should I do?
You would most likely have trouble getting the mirror to lock properly against uneven surfaces like painted walls, textured bathroom tiles and wallpaper BUT if that is the only surface available to you, there is a workaround to this.
First confirm whether the suction mechanism is working properly by testing it against a window or another glass mirror surface. If the mirror suctions properly to other flat surfaces but not to your desired spot/wall/tile, we recommend using the included wall-mount sticker* with your purchase.
If the suction still does not hold even though the surface seems completely flat, please email us at support@mirrorvana.com and we will be more than happy to offer a full refund or free replacement.
Why does my reflection on your shower mirror appear wider/narrower than normal?
Mirrorvana shower mirrors are constructed entirely of plastic which will result in a slightly different reflected image than what you may be used to with mirrors made entirely of glass. Our shower mirrors also sport a concave design which, depending on your viewing angle, may result in a slightly shorter or taller, or wider or narrower reflection. Please be assured that all of this is completely normal and your mirror is not defective.
